Bruschetta my way

Tonight I made bruschetta. I tried it in many restaurants and enjoyed it every time. Then I watched the movie "Julie and Julia". There was a scene in which Julie is cooking it as one of her 365 recipes. I read a few recipes and came up with my version.

These are the ingredients. Olive oil, ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, kosher salt, fresh ground pepper, single clove of garlic and crusty loaf of bread. Dice the tomatoes and chop up the Basil. Then mix in a bowl with the olive oil and and season with salt and pepper to taste.
.

In a pan brown the bread until it is golden colored. Take the peeled clove of garlic and rub it on the toasted sliced bread. I like garlic but not when its the only thing you taste. Rubbing it on the toast gives it a hint of garlic flavor.

Load up the bread with the tomato mix and enjoy
